The 7-day or 500km vehicle exchange policy allows you to “Be Sure” that you have chosen the right vehicle. The vehicle can be exchanged for any reason. Simply contact our staff in writing stating you would like to exchange the vehicles within the first 7 days of ownership. Pick a new vehicle and give back your old one (Some new paperwork will be required, cancelling old agreement and activating new agreement, etc.). In the event of an exchange, any equipment added to the vehicle can be transferred to the new vehicle at the customer’s expense. If the equipment cannot be moved, then no payment will be made for the equipment. For example, if you buy running boards for a truck and install them and exchange your truck for a car. You can pay to have them taken off your truck or you can leave them on the truck during exchange. The exchanged vehicle must be returned in the same cosmetic and mechanical condition and state it was in upon purchase. Damages to vehicle caused by accidents, excessive use, vandalism or neglect are exempt from this program.
O’Brians provides a 132-point inspection to ensure you have worry free ownership that gives you peace of mind. In some cases we have Factory Certified Technicians and Journeyman Technicians recondition our vehicles to make sure the job is done right. Most vehicles have a remaining manufacturer warranty that comes with the vehicle free of charge.
We buy only the highest quality vehicles, and if the vehicle needs mechanical or cosmetic repairs, O’Brians does the repairs needed. You deserve the best pre-owned vehicle and all the information to make a well- informed decision. O’Brians provides Carfax reports free of charge on all vehicles upon request.
Every certified pre-owned vehicle comes with our comprehensive warranty free of charge. The warranty is for 30 Days or 5,000 km whichever comes first. Simply bring the vehicle back to a designated O’Brians location and we will make the necessary repairs free of charge.
Included in the coverage are:
EXCLUSIONS - Warranty repairs that qualify and which are claimed and documented within the 30 days of purchase can be repaired for up to 90 days from the date of purchase. Customers have 90 days from the date of purchase, to have all repair work (which was documented within the first 30 days) fixed at an O’Brians repair facility or a repair facility authorized by O’Brians. Repairs after the 90 days will not be covered by O’Brians due to additional damage which could have been caused due to further operation of the vehicle. Diagnostic fees and or repairs at unauthorized shops will not be covered under the 30 day or 5000 km (whichever comes first) warranty. All vehicles needing repairs that are covered under manufacturer warranty will be referred to the manufacture brand dealer for warranty repairs. All after market products installed on the vehicle prior to purchase will not be covered under the 30 day or 5000 km (whichever comes first) warranty. All after market products installed after purchase or as part of the sales agreement will be warrantied for the 30 day or 5000 km (whichever comes first) warranty period. Issues to do with tires, valve stems or damaged rims will be not covered in our 30 day or 5000 km (whichever comes first) warranty. O’Brians does not provide loaner vehicles for service repairs, but we will facilitate pick and drop off for customers who live in the same city as O’Brians repair facility. Clutches and/or wear and tear parts will not be covered.
